The Nitro section committee wish to present the following proposals for
changes to MT classes , as well as the amendment to the current points
calculations to be applied to both Buggy , Stadium, Monster Truck and Truggy
with an implementation date of 1st Jan Y2008.
This will greatly speed up the process of calculating points for world
qualification standing and allow the Truggy and Monster Truck group to crown a
National Champion based on Sum of all state events , with only 1 worst event
dropped . Buggy points system will still count best two (2) of minimum
four (4) events over the 2 year qualifying period .The focus is making it easier
for the next committee members to continue the work we have started .
The 4 Proposals to be voted on by all eligible AARCMCC affilliated Clubs are as
follows .
1. As per attachment , proposal from
CORMCC re combining the 2 Monster truck classes into 1 simply called Monster
Truck Unlimited. download

2. Points system to be used by all AARCMCC
IC Offroad Classes which uses finishing positions only * (see below) to
calculate points towards driver ranking for the relevant period . Points will be
as per attachment
with 100 points for the winner ,reducing by 5 per position ; ie 95 points for
2nd , 90 points for 3rd, etc, down to 10th position awarded 55 points .
From 11th position all other entrants shall receive points from 50 points
(11th) reducing by 1 point each position down to 40th position , whereby all
entries from 40th position and lower shall receive 20 points.
* Top 14 (ie, semifinalists) qualifyers shall receive bonus points
of 28 points for TQ, decreasing by 2 points per position down to 14th position
receiving 2 points . All other entrants shall receive no points for
qualifying. National Title Events will be double qualifying points . download

3. Truggy, Monster Truck and Stadium Truck
classes to have a pointscore series whereby all but the drivers 1 worst State
event counts towards a National Series Champion . Pointscores will be as above .

4. Voting for IC state delegates to be via ballot
organised prior to AGM
Propose web base vote system, nominations for Section Head , secretary and State
Delegates between October - December in the year prior to AGM and voting be open
between Jan - Feb of the AGM year. One vote per affiliated AARCMCC
club. Running tally to be kept on AARCMCC site .

Clubs can reply to this email with yes or no votes for each proposal. Voting for
these proposals will close on 30th of November , 2007. It would be appreciated
if all clubs could reply as soon as possible. If clubs need
